SCHOOL EXAMS

In the area of schooling, important results have been booked. Byambadavaa finished tenth class. He will continue one more year on the same school. Tumentsetseg passed the exams for ninth grade. She will go to the technical school to learn cooking.

Olziijargal finished 11th grade and has been accepted for the Music and Dance College in Ulaanbaatar. He will leave the transition home to live in the capital from September on. This singer gave his own concert in the big wrestling palace of Choibalsan!

GARDEN

As every year lots of seeds have been planted and now the results are there! Last year they started to plant also trees to have more permanent green around the house. Local trees, because of the harsh winter.

KITCHEN AND CAMP

This summer the kitchen will be renovated tob e able to comply to the hygiene standards of the Mongolian inspection. They started by buying some utensils, but the important work will de done while the children are away in summer camp. They will go to Dadal in the province of Hentei, several hundreds of kilometers north of Choibalsan. Beautiful nature (I was there myself) with lots of flowers (innumerable Edelweiss) and the area where Genghis Khan was born. They will leave Friday for a long week.

GER

Next year three girls will turn 18 years of age, Tumentsetseg, Bolortuya en Monhtsetseg. They will then go and live in the transition home, in their own ger. To prepare them for this the ger is put next to Anna Home. This summer they live in it, so the transition, next year, will not be so big.
