bolorchuluunThe vice-president of Dornod guril. Ltd, H.Bolorchuluun, visited Anna Home and talked with the children and the employees. I talked several times with him and now he promised to help us. A full year long he will donate us every month 75 kg flour and 75 kg potatoes! He himself grew up in a big family and had a hard life. So he understands us.

KAREN WRITES:

In other years we sent the children presents with Christmas, but since Maarten recently visited Anna Home, we did it differently this year, to help make happiness and warmth at the end of the year. That most Mongolians are Buddhists and don’t celebrate Christmas and that they celebrate New Year in a very different moment, is not so important. And after all Boldsaikhan is a Christian, so it is an important time of the year. Many of my colleagues donated the Christmas gift from our company to Anna Home and the Rabbit School in Cambodia. And that meant a party and some extra’s!
December 24 there was a party with singing and dancing in the restaurant of the chairwoman of the Mongolian board. And December 31 they had a party in Anna Home with nice food and presents. All 7 employees received a Christmas bonus for their good work in the past year. And then there was some money left for kitchen things.
Thanks again to all the colleagues who contributed!

BIKE CHALLENGE

Hopefully you will receive an extra edition of this newsletter soon. We are working hard to organise a mountain bike tour through Mongolia to Anna Home. If we can go through with this, and we will know soon, you will be able to visit this beautiful, empty, country and the 25 of Anna Home!
We hope this way to, through sponsoring of the participants, raise money for the children, who after all have to eat and drink every day.
